Young Man
As an Investment Advisor, my passion for financials began when I was very young. My Grandmother, by necessity, needed to develop a reliable income stream. Fortunately, a family member referred her to a trusted Financial Advisor who suggested she purchase preferred stock in companies that offer dividends. She helped me learn the financial ropes and always offered unsolicited financial planning lessons. And so, my investment education began. In the years that followed, I came to admire the impact a trusted advisor can have on someone by always looking out for every client's best interests. Offering personal help and the impact it provides has guided me throughout my professional life.
College Grad
Upon graduation from Martin Van Buren HS, Queens Village, New York, I attended Long Island University, and completed my undergraduate studies with a B.S. in Business Management. Subsequently, a business career in Manhattan, and post-grad studies at New York University.
Career Minded
In 1973, I was offered and accepted a transfer position to California where I soon established my own long and successful independent career manufacturing women’s knitted sportswear fabric for many large private label clothing makers and stores.
More Currently
I began my financial career in 2001 as an Advisor, affiliated with the MetLife Private Client Group. The MetLife brand had many traditional product offerings. However, in 2013, I felt it was time to offer non-proprietary products, including multiple financial planning strategies. I established my independent financial planning practice in 2013.
I feel very strongly about the freedom of product independence. This led me to Kestra Financial, where I continue to provide families and small businesses with personalized financial advice related to retirement planning and investment management. As an Independent Advisor, I offer a relationship that blends financial experience, good judgement, and personal attention. I find the best way to help clients is by obtaining a thorough understanding of what matters most to someone, and how their chosen priorities can best be reached. Then, engineer the most efficient plan possible.
I also have a passion for helping young adults find their way in life by giving of my time and energy. From 2014-2022, I served as Chair for The Foundation for Pierce College. I am currently proud and honored to serve as a City Councilman for the City of Calabasas. When not helping clients or working on Calabasas city matters, I love spending time with my wife Dot, our two boys Adam and Jonathan and watching our two Grandkids grow up. Also, somewhere down the list is trying to get in an occasional round of golf.
Your investment goals and financial situation are unique. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, and don’t let anyone tell you there is. That’s where I come in.
I understand the importance of asking the right questions, properly interpreting the answers, and making sure that you are comfortable with your decisions.
Yes, we are partners in your financial future; but ultimately, our relationship is about YOU.
